Olive Oil Leek

Ingredients
- 5 leeks
- Half a teaspoon of olive oil
- Half cup of rice
- 2 carrots;
- 1 onion
- Juice of half a lemon
- 2 tomatoes
- 1 teaspoon of granulated sugar
- 1,5 cups of hot water
- Salt
Preparation
Clean by discarding the green parts of the leeks. Chop it into longitudinal lozenges, three fingers wide and throw it into the water. Saute finely chopped onion in oil until lightly browned. Fry the carrots cut in half a finger length with 2 finely chopped tomatoes and add the leeks to the material. Roast for 15-20 minutes with the lid closed. Add water, rice, sugar, salt and lemon juice and mix. Cook over medium heat until the leeks are soft.
