Olive Bread

Ingredients

  • 3,5 cups flour
  • 1 packet of instant yeast
  • 150 grams pitted black olives
  • 1 cup of warm water
  • 1 teaspoon of theme
  • 1 teaspoon of salt

Preparation 

Sift the flour into a deep bowl. Add the yeast, thyme, salt, and chopped pitted black olives. Knead the dough by adding warm water gradually. Keep kneading until you get a dough consistency, add flour and water if necessary. Cover the dough you bought on a floured counter with a damp cloth and let it sit at room temperature for 30 minutes. Grease the baking mold with olive oil. Place the fermented dough in the mold and cover it with a damp cloth and leave it for another 30 minutes. After sprinkling rosemary on the bread as desired, bake in a preheated 200 degree oven for 45 minutes. After cooling, remove from the mold and serve by slicing.
